Day of Classic cars and Alpacas

As promised yesterday, took today off.

Another perfect day and there was a benefit for the Redmond Humane Society at the Crescent Moon Alpaca farm.  What a place.  Hundreds of Alpacas.
This boy was quite proud of himself.  Most would be with that coat.
First they put them on the rack.  Apparently, alpacas are not all that willing to sit for a haircut.
Then they get a pedicure
and they take a sample
then the whole coat comes off pretty much intact
Finally, they end up looking like big poodles.  These were "pet quality" gelded males for sale in pairs for $500.  Cheaper than most dogs and you won't need a lawn mower anymore.

After lunch (tri tip, not alpaca), on to the cars.
Pretty fancy tow car
but the blown trailer was my favorite.

On the way home we stopped to admire the homes overlooking the Deschutes.  Actually, we were admiring the Deschutes the most.
Yet another perfect day of weather.

Garage shelving tomorrow, probably no pictures.
