Holiday from Fishing

Today we took a hike.  The trail (one of a zillion) followed the stream above Pactola Lake.  Imagine the stress as Roger walked up miles of perfect trout habitat and never paused to harass the fish.  It was a perfect day as the front from the Northwest has finally arrived and we had cool overcast for the hike and the rain started as we got back to the car.

 Our lunch spot
A cool cave that we didn't explore.

So we made a quick trip to the Red Ass Winery and the Naked Winery on the way home.  Dinner out tonight then on the road again tomorrow.  We all agree this has been the perfect time to be here.  Most everything seasonal closes up next week and the weather has been perfect.  We're hoping to do it again next year.

Later Gator.
Teri's favorite send off to the grandkids.
