As in finished. Got the dump run done in about half a day and one trip. Even got rid of some left over parts of the old porch which we replaced last spring.
Been working on a rant but just can’t get it right. Seems like I quickly end up at the same place regardless of the rant, religious, political, whatever. Like Lewis Black, very pessimistic, and I reach the same conclusion. As a species we are really screwing up on so many levels!
It is so much easier to ignore all the clamor, play with my grand children, and when they get older tell them the same thing I told my kids. Sorry, we were going to fix everything but it didn’t work out that way. Your turn now, good luck. Whose turn is it to feed grandpa today?
One more weekend here and we hit the road again. Farmers Market again tomorrow; so many fascinating places to eat and drink around here and so little time! Monday we head over to Bend to visit Emil and Sara. Never been there and are really looking forward to it. Looks like the storm will blow through here and be gone for our drive.
I’ll try to be a little more upbeat in the future. Honest! Here's where I let my mind go to cheer up. I took this in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand on a lunch hike. The boat is a 40' steel sloop owned by a friend of ours. Another story.
