Mark I Version Done

Ok. The idea is for three rain barrels to collect the rain runoff from the garage.  It gets used on the garden. The overflow gets diverted to a fourth rain barrel under the play structure. Then the water is pumped by kid power to a sink where toy boats can be prepared for launch.

Ready for the beta testers.
This scoops the boat/ducky out of the 4" waterfall and diverts it to the sandbox.
After the waterfall it's a quick left turn and back to the starting point.

When the barrels over fill, the excess takes the lower route to the sump below the play structure.

There the (still enamored) grandchildren enthusiastically pump it up to the "sink".
The fleet is floated.

Then simply release the gate and send them on their way.

So far, I need to develop a method of holding the sides of the gutter open that doesn't low bridge most of the Vessels. Looks like the gate needs a latch that is easier to operate.  I'll put the engineering staf right on it.

Back home now. Check out the water feature inside my orthopedist's office,

This is the Orthopedic Center in Bend. It has it's own traffic circle in the parking lot and some rather striking architecture. Reeking of very expensive medical care. I was here for my other knee some time ago when I didn't like the care I was getting from the VA Orthopedic section. Surprisingly, my government OPM insurance covered it. Or they adjusted the bill.
Not much overhead keeping this place up.
No fish though.

There is a small stream that runs most of the reception area, which is is overseen by two greeters that make sure you get to the right area in the reception room. After you check in, they direct you to the back half of the area where the seats are color coded for each group of doctors.  Each with their own specialty. I was here for a shot in my knee.

All better now, ready for some fishing.

Weather is perfect, cept maybe for the lightning.
