Saw about 50 LBJ's (little brown jobs) fighting for a space at the feeder and suet holder the other day.
But when I tried to capture the moment, most of them took off.
Went out to the headwaters of the Metolius River Sunday. It just runs under ground to emerge a few yards behind the spot where I took this photo of a deer crossing the stream.
See, there really was a deer.
Busy week this. Good thing the weather's perfect.
